Join us for a private wine tasting at Cellar Rat Wine Merchants in the Crossroads. Cellar Rat will serve wines by women and provide an intro to each wine served. Learn a little about wines produced by women while connecting with your fellow AWL members in a setting conducive to conversation and networking. Cheese, charcuterie and crackers will be available to enjoy. There are only 12 spots available, so respond early and make sure you are committed to join us if you sign up. We will also establish a wait list for those interested in attending.
Take an urban hike through the Crossroads Art District with Urban Hikes KC. The hike will be guided, with information about Kansas City and Union Station history, followed by a walk through the alley ways of the Crossroads Art District to explore the vibrant murals throughout the area. The hike will conclude at Percheron’s rooftop bar to allow the group time to discuss the tour and do some networking.

AWL-KC and Lexitas invites new attorneys and students to a special event on June 7th, showcasing the Diversity Artists Series. Join us for an evening of socializing and art appreciation, featuring stunning works by local talents including Eugenia Ortiz, Xiao Faria da cunha, Smitha George, Daniel Alberto Lopez Herrerias, Andrea Cira, Anita Easterwood, Denita Robinson, Isaac Tapia, Rodrigo Alvarez, Raffaela Malazarte, and Caleb Orr. Indulge in delicious food and drinks while immersing yourself in the vibrant local art scene.
Each month Lexitas welcomes the legal community to celebrate local artists. Their office is in the heart of the Crossroads Art District and is a perfect spot to start and end your tour of some of the other galleries and shops in the district.
